Destination Venus; Futuristic Jewellery & Accessories for the 22nd Century

Join us while we take a  look into the future… with a distinct nod to the 90’s in a shoot featuring  some of our favourite futuristic jewellery and accessories.

Inspired by local hairdresser Kay Corbett and her audition entry for Generation Now, we took the opportunity to  use her crazy hair and fashion styling to create a Joe Edinburgh fashion shoot to fit her Space Grunge/90’s theme…and we LOVE the results! Big thanks to Edinburgh/London photographer Graeme Cunningham who instantly understood what we were trying to capture and to the National Museum of  Scotland for very patiently allowing us to shoot in one of their beautiful galleries.

Our effortlessly stylish backpack is not only one of this season’s must have accessories; its clever design means that it can be worn as a backpack, a shoulder bag or a handbag.  Shown here in grey, its edgy, minimal good looks make it a perfect fit with metallics and futuristic pieces.

Futuristic jewellery and accessories –lunar landscapes, muted metallics, twinkling starry glitter, glass spheres and mirrored surfaces make up just some of the foundations of this fabulous collection of futuristic fashion jewellery items. The choker; a simple statement piece that adds a fun 90’s angle to the look and is set to be a trend that we’ll happily be carrying through to the next season.  Keep it understated with our black beaded tie choker or go all out with the Circumspheres choker and matching bangle.

All items can be purchased on our website www.joeshop.co.uk or by visiting our shop at 3 Greyfriars Place, Edinburgh. Call us on 0131 225 4881 or email enquiries to joe-shop@joe-cool.co.uk
